When Teleprompter Pro fits better

Teleprompter Pro has been built for productions since 2011. If you read from glass in a studio, send a clean feed to an external monitor, or have someone else control the scroll with a remote or a second iPad, it covers those workflows in depth. It's also a natural choice if you film videos on an iPhone or iPad, which Notch doesn't do.

When Notch fits better

Notch is built for the live moments around work rather than a studio: a sales demo, a lesson, a team update or a client call on Zoom, Teams or Google Meet. It runs on Windows as well as Mac, sits just below your webcam, follows your voice in six languages with speech recognition on your computer, and stays out of screen sharing so you can share slides while keeping your notes. You buy the teleprompter once for $17.99 rather than subscribing.
