Notch v1.0.0 - Beta Release

Initial Windows beta release of Notch, a fully offline, voice-activated teleprompter.

Highlights

• Voice-activated — The script scrolls while you talk and pauses when you’re silent. No clicking, no pedals.
• 100% offline — All processing is local. Your voice never leaves your device. No cloud, no API keys, no account.
• Minimal UI — A slim “notch” overlay that stays on top. Load a .txt file, adjust mic settings if needed, and you’re ready.
• Manual control — Toggle scrolling with Space or tweak speed. Spoken words are highlighted; the rest stays dimmed for focus.
• Cross-platform — Run with python run.py on Windows or macOS. Dependencies install automatically on first run.

No sign-up. No cloud. Just you and your script.

Installation

Windows: Download NotchSetup-v1.0.0.zip below, extract it, and run Notch.exe. macOS: Download Notch_macOS-v1.0.0.zip below, extract it, and drag Notch.dmg to your Applications folder.
